The Viking Shield is a round shield, inspired by the shields used by the Vikings and Saxons before the 10th century. Its design evokes both the raw simplicity and the effectiveness of Norse combat, with a smooth, textured wooden surface and a central metal boss for a formidable appearance.
Its slightly convex shape provides a good defensive angle, while the hand-painted wood provides an excellent base for painting a coat of arms or personal symbol. Its rigid EVA foam structure covered in latex ensures great durability on LARP battlefields.
